1. Mykonos Town (Chora)
Mykonos Town, also locally known as Chora, is a typical Cycladic town with many whitewashed cube houses. This is the place where most of the visitors will be strolling around for more photos. There are also many restaurants, cafes, souvenir shops and jewellery boutiques for the visitors to enjoy their day.

The windmills on the hill overlooking the Aegean Sea are the most iconic landmark in the whole Mykonos. These windmills are no longer working and some of them have been turned into shops and houses. This is also one of the best spots to catch a sunset.

5. Old Port of Mykonos
The Old Port currently served as a docking bay for the private yachts, fishing boats and some small commercial ferry boats. This is also the port to use if you want to do a day trip to Delos. For other destinations like Piraeus, Paros, Santorini and etc, you have to use the new port at Tourlos (3km from the Old Port). *We advise you to check with the ferry company which port should you go before you proceed.

The famous Starbucks Coffee chain can be found in Mykonos. Although it is just another Starbucks outlet, I find it quite special because this outlet has a quintessential Cycladic architecture style.

Stay
Damianos Hotel Mykonos
Damianos Hotel Mykonos is situated on a hilltop which is very close to the city center and yet provides a very calm and quiet environment. The hotel is very clean and comfortable, also the staffs are warm and friendly. Thanks to its great location, we are able to enjoy the town's attractions and activities conveniently. Even if you are lazy to get out of the hotel, you can enjoy their recreational facilities such as outdoor pool and hot tub. What I love about this hotel is they offer a panoramic view of the Mykonos Town and the Aegean Sea. Overall, we had a pleasant and relaxing stay.

As a travel photographer, I really love the picturesque Cycladic architecture of Mykonos town. And I totally enjoy walking through the narrow winding street between the little whitewashed houses with blue doors and windows, especially in the early morning when you see mostly the local people.
