Luang Prabang is an atmospheric and beautiful ancient city in Laos and it is also the historical, religious and cultural core of the country. Many visitors from around the world come to this charming place for the unique experience of the traditional Lao culture. For those who love to have a taste of authentic Lao hospitality, I would highly recommend the Luang Prabang Residence, a traditional heritage home.
The Luang Prabang Residence is situated in the historical center of the ancient town, Luang Prabang; in close proximity to many key attractions yet comes with a quiet setting and tranquil environment. The Luang Prabang Residence was designed to preserve the look and feel of a traditional heritage home, and it is also one of the most exquisite examples of a traditional Lao style architecture of Luang Prabang.
This boutique hotel with traditional wooden furnishings features a lush green garden and offers 3 deluxe rooms and 4 deluxe suites. All rooms are beautifully furnished with en-suite private facilities.
Room
We stayed in a deluxe twin bed room for 1 night. The room is furnished with hardwood floors and natural furnishings, and it features a refined blend of traditional Lao and contemporary style. The room has a squarish layout which is very spacious, neat and clean. The luxurious space of the bathroom allows the shower to be separated from the toilet. The room is also equipped with air conditioning, Flat screen cable TV, CD/DVD Player, IDD telephone line, Hot & Cold shower, Hair dryer, In-room electronic safe deposit box, Coffee & tea making facilities, Mini bar & refrigerator, Bath ropes & slippers. The hotel also offers free WIFI in the room and the common areas.

The patio, along the corridor also provides an ideal spot for relaxing with a book or a cup of aromatic coffee to kick start your day.
Services
A complimentary breakfast was included in our stay and it was served in the lush green garden. The breakfast was simple but delicious. The staffs were very polite with friendly smiles and service oriented during our stay.
Location
The Luang Prabang Residence is located just behind the Wat Mai temple in the heart of Luang Prabang, the UNESCO World Heritage Site. The Luang Prabang International Airport is just 15mins drive away, the boat pier at the Mekong river is just less than 10mins walk away and it is also surrounded by many restaurants and historical sites. In such a centric location, the guests can also use the hotel bicycles to explore the old town leisurely or book a day tour with the staffs at the reception desk.
